Most Malaysian homes have a grille somewhere — across the front door, over the kitchen door, on the ground-floor windows. It does one job: stops people climbing in. It does nothing about mosquitoes, it rusts at the welds, the paint flakes, and it makes the front of the house look like a cage.
Aluminium King's Security Mesh Series replaces the grille with a door or window made of rust-proof security mesh in its own aluminium frame, fitted alongside your glass door or window. Open the glass, keep the mesh closed and locked, and the breeze comes in while insects and intruders stay out.
There are three series, one for each way a door or window opens. The 67 Series folding mesh door covers wide openings and folds aside when you want the doorway clear. The 90 Series sliding mesh door glides along its own track beside a sliding door. The 60 Series casement mesh window swings open like a casement window, for bedrooms and kitchens where you want air at night without leaving the window unguarded.
The mesh is rust-proof and the frame is aluminium, so there is nothing to repaint and nothing to warp in the heat and rain. Each door and window locks on its own, and the fine mesh keeps mosquitoes out as well as people — something no grille can do. Day-to-day care is a rinse and a soft brush.
