Some windows simply cannot swing. A kitchen window above the sink, a corridor window beside a walkway, a condominium window on the 20th floor where an outward sash is a hazard or against the rules — these are sliding window jobs. The sash moves sideways inside the frame, so nothing projects outside, nothing blocks the grille or the clothes rack, and the opening is as wide as you leave it.
Aluminium King's Sliding Window is made to measure after a free on-site measurement. We check the opening, the sill and how far you can reach to clean, then fabricate the window to those numbers — a common replacement for old steel-framed or louvre windows in older homes and flats.
The sash runs on smooth-glide rollers in a track with built-in drainage, so tropical rain that lands on the sill runs out, not in. Frames are high-strength aluminium profile, finished to resist corrosion and easy to wipe clean. A hook lock secures the sash at the meeting stile, and the window pairs naturally with an insect mesh or security mesh panel on the inside — ask for the 2-in-1 configuration if you want both in one frame.
Glass is chosen for the room: clear for light, frosted for a bathroom, tinted or other options where heat and noise matter. Two-panel windows suit most openings; wider spans can be made with more panels or a fixed centre pane.
Every window is installed by our own team and carries Aluminium King's 10-year warranty on profiles, hardware and workmanship. Not sure whether you need a sliding or a casement window?
